For as long as I can remember, I have loved to read. This probably makes me a tiny bit of a nerd but I've always found that nerds have a tendency to be great successes so I'll roll with it. A couple of months ago, I joined my first book club. The way the club works, the host for the month gets to choose the book and the menu.

The book club had it's first meeting last month and I had such a wonderful time. It was so nice to get to meet a few new girls in the Mobile area and enjoy a few glasses of vino while discussing the chosen book, among other topics. This month we're having a red wine tasting. What more could I ask for?

Since our second meeting is tonight, I thought I'd share the first two months' selections. If you're in need of a good read, I don't think you could go wrong with either book.
